Sell Your Phone Number on the NumbersRing Marketplace
A memorable phone number can be worth far more to someone else than it is to you. Customers search the NumbersRing marketplace every day for numbers just like yours, so why not give it a shot? Sign up, list your number and let buyers come to you, while the number keeps working for you until the day it sells.
Why sell on NumbersRing?
Numbers that are easy to remember, such as repeaters, vanity words and round patterns, are in demand from businesses that want to be found and remembered. The marketplace puts your number in front of the people already searching for one.
Buyers searching daily
Your listing appears on the marketplace alongside the numbers customers browse and search every day.
Your price, your terms
Set an asking price, accept offers with a minimum you would consider, or offer licence terms with a one-time fee plus a monthly fee.
Keeps working while listed
The number stays yours and keeps ringing until a sale completes. You can unlist it at any time before it sells.
Buyers can rely on it
While a number is listed its port-out details are locked, so a buyer knows it will still be there when they pay.

Get paid
When a buyer pays, the number moves to their account and your proceeds are released to PayPal after a 10-day hold.
The number must be active on your NumbersRing account before you can list it. If it is with another carrier, transfer it to NumbersRing first.
What you need before you start
- Ownership – you must be the registered owner of every number you list, with the right to transfer it.
- An active number – the number must be active on your NumbersRing account and not subject to a dispute or a pending port.
- IRS Form W-9 – a completed W-9 is needed before your first payout. Upload it with your application as a PDF, image or Word file (up to 5 MB).
- Matching details – the name and mailing address on your application must match your W-9.
- A PayPal account – sale proceeds are paid to PayPal only.
Offers, counter-offers and getting paid
If you accept offers, buyers can send you an amount on the number’s page. You can accept, decline or send a counter-offer, and both sides are emailed at each step. An offer you accept becomes a normal order at that price, and you can follow every offer under Offer Status in your portal.
When the buyer pays in full, the number is transferred to their NumbersRing account. Your proceeds are released to PayPal after a 10-day hold from the date the sale completes, so that any disputes or refunds can be settled first. Marketplace fees that apply to a sale are shown before you list.
